At WOTE GA, our members pledge to stand with one another in times of loss. We come together in solidarity, offering financial and emotional support to grieving families through contributions toward funeral and related expenses.

In doing so, we live out the principle of brotherhood, uphold the spirit of unity, and fulfill our calling to be our brother’s keeper.

A sense of calm and acceptance that soothes the heart. 

Rooted in Kenya’s long tradition of harambee (“pulling together”), WOTE GA was founded to continue this spirit of unity here in Georgia.
For years, Kenyans in Georgia contributed informally to support families in bereavement. However, contributions were often unpredictable and insufficient.
WOTE GA was created to provide a guaranteed cushion of financial support for members, ensuring timely assistance when death occurs—whether for the member, their parents, or siblings.

                    We pledge to:

• Stand by one another in times of grief.

• Contribute financially towards funeral and related expenses.

• Offer comfort and solidarity to bereaved families.

• In doing so, we affirm the principle of brotherhood, live out the spirit of unity, and remain true to the calling of being our brother’s keeper.
